A message from John Perkins, our CEO

We’ve suspended all routine eye and hearing tests. This is to support the Government efforts to protect us all and discourage non-essential travel. We will though still remain open to support people in the communities we work in if they need emergency care. But, we are only keeping stores open when it is safe to do so for both our customers and colleagues. So, not all our stores will be open during this time and some of our stores will change their normal working hours.

If you or someone you know needs our support, please ask them to phone their nearest open store to make an appointment or to ask for advice. If you’re a key worker, let us know when you phone or walk in to store and we’ll do our best to care for you immediately.

Also see our care page for useful advice about how to look after your glasses and contact lenses in light of the advice we are being given to avoid touching our faces and information about what measures we’ve put in place to protect our customer and colleagues in store.

Our social media team is also on hand from 9am-10pm daily on Facebook and Twitter) to answer any non-urgent questions you have and to chat.

Finally, I wish you and your family all the best during this difficult time and please do get in touch with us if we can help.
