What is an ophthalmoscope?
Answer:
This instrument examines the inside of the eye.
There are two types
- A direct ophthalmoscope enables the optician to examine a small area of retina at a time
- An indirect ophthalmoscope enables a greater area of the retina to be viewed, but at a lower magnification.
