I am concerned I didn't respond accurately during my audiogram test. Does this mean my hearing test will be inaccurate?
Answer:
It is not uncommon for people to think that, when having their hearing tested, they may have missed some of the tones played to them through the headphones.
To find the quietest sound you can hear, known as your threshold of hearing, there will be some sounds played that you cannot hear.
Rest assured that the test results are generally very accurate as the threshold for each tone is double-checked by the audiologist
