Help and frequently asked questions

Is diabetic retinopathy painful?

Answer:

Diabetic retinopathy is a condition that can develop on the retina at the back of the eye and this can damage the vision.

It is certainly not painful and most will not be aware of the condition, which is why everyone who is diabetic should have their eyes examined at least every 12 months.
