Can adults get amblyopia?
Answer:
Yes. Amblyopia is more common in children whose vision is still developing, but it can occasionally be caused by eye problems, such as cataracts, which may make vision in one eye much worse than the other.
If the view from one eye is very poor, the brain may learn to 'ignore' the poor image it produces.
