Free Eye Test, Glasses and Hearing Aids with PRSI
Could your next eye test, glasses and hearing aids be free? Glasses up to the value of €69 and hearing aids up to the value of €1,000 are free if you’re employed, self-employed or retired and have the required number of PRSI contributions.Those eligible for PRSI must provide their PPS number at appointment booking (found on your payslip or tax documents). Cannot be exchanged for cash or used with other vouchers. Eye test, glasses and hearing aids funded by the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection. Cannot be redeemed by customers not entitled to a free PRSI eye test, glasses or hearing aids. Excludes OCT scans and eye tests for VDU use, safety glasses or driving licenses. One per person, for eye tests and glasses, no more than once every two years. For hearing aids, no more than once every four years.
