Store invites customers to learn about new hearing aid technology
Specsavers Letterkenny is inviting customers to learn about the latest hearing aid technology on Thursday 16 August.
Newly refurbished hearing centre
The store is hosting a special event in the newly refurbished hearing centre to showcase the Widex Beyond Hearing aids. The aids use technology which allows them to be synced to smartphones, meaning wearers can adjust the settings to suit their own preferences straight from their phone.
Customers visiting the store on Thursday 16 August will be offered a free demonstration of the Widex Beyond hearing aids. Staff will be on-hand throughout the day to offer advice and talk about the benefits of the hearing aids, as well as how to use and take care of them.
Audiologist at Specsavers Letterkenny Martina McNulty says: ‘With an increase in innovative technology we are delighted to offer our customers Widex Beyond hearing aids. The aids are rechargeable so they are ideal for customers who don’t want the fuss of changing batteries.’
The store has a newly renovated hearing centre, led by clinical lead audiologist Martina McNulty, and boasts hi-tech facilities and top-of-the-range equipment. Also part of the highly skilled team is Kayla Fox, BSC audiologist, and Rebecca Harten, a rehabilitation specialist.
Specsavers Letterkenny provides free three-minute hearing screenings, using their hearing screener. There is no need to book an appointment and the screener lets
customers know whether they would benefit from a full hearing test, which takes about an hour.
