Specsavers Henry Street raise over €900 for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin
Specsavers Ireland recently announced its commitment to raise €100,000 over the next year for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin to contribute towards the hospital’s ophthalmology unit.
Committed to cycling
Specsavers' Henry Street, along with Specsavers stores nationwide, committed to cycling the circumference of Ireland (5,600kms) on Saturday 7th June, with the Henry Street team raising €900 for Specsavers’ chosen charity of the year. The bikes and rollers were generously donated by Ben Dunne Gyms on the day.
There was a fantastic effort made by the Specsaver Henry Street team, with the staff succeeding in cycling their target of 120km on the day.
Last year, 43,779 children from Co. Dublin attended Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, meaning there were on average 120 admittances each day.
