Store shortlisted for Drogheda Business Awards
Specsavers Drogheda has been shortlisted for the Drogheda Business Awards, an event which celebrates the achievements and efforts of both the largest businesses in the area as well as some of the smaller community based units.
The Specsavers store has been nominated in two categories; Retail Excellence and Medium to Large Business. This is the first time Specsavers Drogheda has been shortlisted in these awards, which will take place on Saturday 18 November in the CityNorth Hotel.
21 years in business
Specsavers Drogheda celebrated 21 years in business last year, having proudly served the people of Co. Louth since the store opened in August 1995.
Store directors David McCloskey, Fiona O’Donnell and Kerril Hickey, along with a team of experienced optometrists, audiologists and highly trained staff are an integral part of the community, providing exceptional optical and hearing services along with stylish yet affordable eyewear.

Specsavers Drogheda has all the latest equipment in its testing rooms and is committed to bringing advanced eye test technology to customers, ensuring that they receive only the very best professional care and advice. What’s more, Specsavers Drogheda is au fait with ultra-stylish eyewear for the fashion-conscious customer, with big designer brands available in store.
The store recently welcomed a new range of Balmain frames to its offering, with other house hold names such as Nicole Farhi, Kylie Minogue and Darren Kennedy Recommends Edit available in store.
In addition to being experts in eye health, Specsavers Drogheda also specialises in hearing with an on-site hearing centre. Free hearing screenings are available in store which involves a simple three-minute test, providing a way for customers to monitor their hearing.
