Waterford store opening
Specsavers Waterford celebrated the opening of the new state-of-the-art optical and hearing facility, inviting customers to a day of fun and festivities while local radio station WLRFM broadcast live from the store.
Pictured at the relocation celebrations is Garvan Mulligan, Store Director of Specsavers, City Square, Waterford cutting the ribbon with staff and family members to officially launch their new store in City Square, Waterford.
Specsavers Waterford now boasts an impressive five optical testing rooms and a dedicated hearing room overseen by experienced audiologist Rob Smart. The store has also invested in sophisticated optical technology, iHarmony, which links with the store’s iPads to make the process of dispensing spectacles smoother and quicker.
Speaking at the event Garvan Mulligan said, “At Specsavers, we are committed to developing and improving our stores so that customers have access to the latest technology as well as in-store expertise from knowledgeable optometrists and audiologists and outstanding standards of customer service. We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to our new and improved store.”
Guests to the event were treated to light refreshments while browsing the store and its stunning new facilities. Specsavers giant ear mascot and a balloon arch added fantastic colour to the occasion.
Since opening in Waterford in 1994, Specsavers has expanded from six members of staff to thirty.
