GAA hero helps us help Newbridge brothers suffering from a rare genetic condition
Kildare corner back, Ollie Lyons, stopped into Specsavers Newbridge recently to get tested and fitted for a new set of contact lenses. The 27 year old GAA star requires 20/20 vision to ensure he is always on top of his game and that he reaches the ball ahead of his opponent each time.
Complimentary lens fittings
Specsavers' Newbridge store, sponsors of Ollie’s new contact lenses, is now offering a complimentary contact lens fitting demonstration, normally worth €30, to all new and existing customers.
Sporting hero donates jersey to fundraiser
During his visit to the store, Ollie kindly donated a signed Kildare jersey to Specsavers Newbridge in an effort to raise funds for two local brothers suffering from a rare genetic condition called Cowden’s Syndrome. Raffle tickets are on sale in store with all funds going towards the cost of care for Zac and Ross Corkish.
