Continuing its commitment to improve the service it offers to the local community, Specsavers Clonmel recently underwent a major refurbishment at their Gladstone Street location.

New Look

To celebrate the store’s new look, the team at Specsavers Clonmel held a family fun day for its customers, with Tipp FM broadcasting from the store for the day. Customers enjoyed delicious home baked treats and refreshments, as face-painters and balloon modellers entertained the younger customers.

Speaking about the store’s refurbishment celebrations, newly appointed retail director Karen Dunlea, commented: ‘We are delighted to unveil our fantastic new store and hope that everyone who joined us in celebrating had a great afternoon.

'We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came along, including Tipp FM, who broadcast live and created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day.’

Latest Technology

Camille Maguire, co-store director added: ‘At Specsavers Clonmel, we are committed to developing and improving our store so that customers have access to the latest technology as well as in-store expertise from qualified optometrists and audiologists. We’re really looking forward to welcoming new and existing customers to our new and improved store.’

The new look store now boasts three refurbished and fully air conditioned testing rooms and most notably, a wheelchair accessible testing room is now operating from the store’s ground floor. The dedicated hearing centre, overseen by Audiologist Dermot Dougan, is now open Monday – Saturday and on Sunday’s, by appointment only.
