Specsavers Monaghan is delighted to be celebrating five years in business, having proudly served the local community since the store opened in March 2012. To celebrate the milestone birthday, the store will be holding a family fun day, for all customers and locals to enjoy on Saturday, 04 March.

Birthday celebrations

To coincide with the birthday celebrations, the store is holding a massive giveaway, offering ten customers the chance to win a pair of designer frames. In addition to this, customers will be treated to light refreshments throughout the course of the family fun day.

To add colour and excitement to the occasion, the store will be decorated with a green and white balloon arch, as well as having a face painter.

Health care service

Over the past five years, store directors Kathleen Campbell and Martina Kelly, who are local to the area, along with their team of experienced optometrists, audiologists and highly trained customer service staff, have proved an integral part of the community’s health care service.

The state of the art optical and hearing facility, located in the Monaghan Shopping Centre, employs seven full time and five part-time staff. It is open seven days a week, with late night openings on Friday and a hearing centre open both Monday and Thursday.

The store also provides Digital Precision Eyecare, a cutting edge way of selecting and fitting customers’ glasses using imaging software on tablet devices.
