Specsavers Nenagh go the distance to raise over €600 for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin

Specsavers Ireland recently announced its commitment to raise €100,000 over the next year for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin to contribute towards the hospital’s ophthalmology unit. 

Committed to cycling

Specsavers Nenagh, along with Specsavers stores nationwide, committed to cycling the circumference of Ireland (5,600kms) on Saturday 7th June, with Specsavers Nenagh raising €600 for Specsavers’ chosen charity of the year. The Ultimate Women’s Group kindly donated the bikes on the day.

Fantastic effort

There was a fantastic effort made by the entire Specsavers Nenagh team, who succeeded in cycling the target of 120km on the day.

Co. Tipperary

Last year, 3,573 children from Co. Tipperary attended Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, meaning there were on average 10 admittances each day.
