Specsavers Navan go the distance to raise much needed funds for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin

Specsavers Ireland recently announced its commitment to raise €100,000 over the next year for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin to contribute towards the hospital’s ophthalmology unit. 

Committed to cycling

Specsavers Navan, along with Specsavers stores nationwide, committed to cycling the circumference of Ireland (5,600kms) on Saturday 7th June, with Specsavers Navan raising much needed funds for Specsavers’ chosen charity of the year. The bike was kindly donated by local gym ‘Club Active’ on the day.

Fantastic effort

There was a fantastic effort made by the entire Specsavers Navan team, who succeeded in completing their target of 120km on the day. 

Co. Meath

Last year 5,750 children from Co. Meath attended Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, meaning there were on average 16 admittances each day.
