Specsavers Ireland recently announced its commitment to raise €100,000 over the next year for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin to contribute towards the hospital’s ophthalmology unit.
Committed to cycling
Specsavers Naas, along with Specsavers stores nationwide, committed to cycling the circumference of Ireland (5,600kms) on Saturday 7th June, with Specsavers Naas raising over €400 for Specsavers’ chosen charity of the year.
There was a fantastic effort made by the Specsavers team who got some extra help from members of St. David's Boxing Club in Naas.
Last year, 12,218 children from Co. Kildare attended Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, meaning there were on average 33 admittances each day.
