Specsavers Dundrum put the wheels in motion to raise over €700 for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin

Specsavers Ireland recently announced its commitment to raise €100,000 over the next year for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin to contribute towards the hospital’s ophthalmology unit.

Committed to cycling

Specsavers Dundrum, along with Specsavers stores nationwide, committed to cycling the circumference of Ireland (5,600kms) on Saturday 14th June, with Specsavers Dundrum raising over €700 for Specsavers’ chosen charity of the year.  Evlery Sports, Dundrum, kindly donated the bike on the day.

Fantastic effort

There was a fantastic effort made by the entire Specsavers Dundrum team, who succeeded in cycling the target of 120km on the day.

Co. Dublin

Last year, 43,779 children from Co. Dublin attended Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, meaning there were on average 120 admittances each day.
