Droichead Arts Centre’s Silver Screen Programme is already underway with Specsavers Drogheda Audiology delighted to continue their sponsorship of the programme.
Silver Screen Programme
Although not all grandparents are the most avid of cinema goers, Droichead Arts Centre’s Silver Screen has been attempting to steadily change this over the past few years with their over 55’s viewing for free initiative with thanks to the support of Specsavers.
Specsavers and The Elderly
Speaking about the sponsorship, Specsavers Drogheda Audiologist Connie Scully comments: “Specsavers has a long history of supporting community activities especially active retirement groups and are delighted to be associated with the Silver Screen at the Droichead Arts Centre.
The staff at Specsavers Drogheda understand the importance of good hearing at all ages, especially for their elderly customers. More people than ever before are entitled to the PRSI Treatment Benefit Scheme.
Specsavers Drogheda encourage eligible customers to avail of great value hearing tech using the scheme whereby the Department of Welfare will pay for half of the cost of a hearing aid, up to a maximum of €500 for a single aid, or to up €1,000 for a pair.
