On Friday 15th May, Specsavers Athlone were the proud sponsors at a gala event held at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel for the inaugural Westmeath Style Awards.
The event, which was organised by the Westmeath Independent and Westmeath Examiner, honoured and recognised the best fashion and beauty related local businesses in Westmeath.
Specsavers Athlone is delighted to support the fashion and beauty industry in Westmeath, giving recognition to the best fashion boutiques across ten different categories at the awards ceremony. On the night, Hannah Grace from Ganly’s was announced as the ‘Overall Excellence in Style’ winner, she also picked up the ‘Best in Interiors’ award earlier in the evening.
Hugh Morris of Specsavers Athlone commented on their sponsorship; “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Westmeath Style Awards for the first year running and it is fantastic to be associated with such a great local event. At Specsavers, we pride ourselves on bringing stylish yet affordable eyewear to the community and loved seeing all the style at the 2015 Westmeath Style Awards.”
And while the awards honoured the style and finesse of local businesses, there was also plenty of fashion on the night as people gathered for a drinks reception ahead of the glamorous awards ceremony and meal.
