Specsavers Athlone is thrilled to be teaming up with the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind as part of the charity’s Puppy Love campaign this Valentine’s Day.

The team at Specsavers is encouraging the people of Athlone to spread some puppy love by purchasing cards and gifts for their loved ones from Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Specsavers has worked with the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind for the past ten years, raising vital funds for the charity and Specsavers Athlone is proud to show its continued support by supporting the Puppy Love campaign.

Costs

Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind is encouraging people to purchase cards and gifts for their sweethearts this Valentine’s Day from their range available at Specsavers Athlone. Priced from €2.00, the Valentine’s Day cards feature some adorable puppies. The funds raised from selling Valentine’s Day cards will benefit Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy training programmes and ensure the continuation of their vital services.

Store Director of Specsavers Athlone, Hugh Morris says: ‘We are hoping that Specsavers Athlone customers will show the love for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind Valentine’s Day campaign and support us in our fundraising efforts to raise much-needed funds for this fantastic cause.

Guide dogs are life- changing partners for people in Ireland who are living with sight loss. All funds raised by Specsavers and their customers will be going towards the cost of care and training of pups and their development into fully qualified guide dogs’.
