The man in the big red suit took a break from his hectic Christmas preparations to pay a visit to Specsavers Cork City, Opera Lane, for a routine check up on his eyes and glasses ensuring he can read the all-important naughty or nice list.

Family fun day

Dressed in colourful and festive Christmas jumpers for the day, staff at Specsavers Cork City were on hand to welcome Santa Claus to the store and ensure he had the correct prescription for his specs before setting off with his reindeer to visit the boys and girls this Christmas Eve. Santa entertained customers and passers-by while giving out sweets and singing Christmas carols.

Store director John Morrin commented after the event: ‘We had a great day welcoming Santa and customers in store and hope everybody enjoyed the festivities.’ Over the years, Specsavers Cork City have been on hand to take care of the eye health of local families, both young and old.
