The climb

This campaign will see Specsavers’ fundraising efforts reach new heights as Tony embarks on the epic journey of climbing to Mount Everest Base Camp to raise €100,000 towards the refurbishment of the new ophthalmology department at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.

Fundraising success

Specsavers staff across the country will be stepping up to the challenge with their own in-store fundraising activities on Saturday, 16 April and throughout the month of May as they climb the distance on stair climber machines.

Having exceeded its initial fundraising target, Specsavers presented the hospital with a cheque for €120,000 and announced that it would be extending its commitment to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin by pledging to raise an additional €100,000 through the ‘Climb for Crumlin’ campaign.

How you can help
