Cycling success for Crumlin
The Wilton Specsavers team have once again hopped on their bikes in aid of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and raised a fantastic €1,100 this spring.
The opticians store staff put the wheels in motion for another in-store static cycle event following a year of successful fundraisers for the refurbishment of the hospital’s ophthalmology unit.
Deirdre Moore, store director said: ‘We’re delighted that our staff were so enthusiastic and involved with the day’s events and we are so impressed by the generous donations made by customers on the day. The €1,100 raised surpassed our expectations and we really couldn’t have done it without the fantastic support from our customers.'
Ophthalmology at Our Lady's
