Specsavers Navan has completed a major refurbishment to ensure that customers can benefit from unrivalled service and professionalism in addition to an even better in-store experience. Demonstrating its commitment to continuous improvement, the local optician and hearing centre invested €350,000 to provide new facilities and more efficient services to the people of Navan.

Quality service and facilities

Since opening at 46 Trimgate Street in 2003, Specsavers Navan has expanded from a team of six to 30 healthcare professionals. Customers can rest assured that they are receiving the highest standards of professional care and expertise from the long-standing members of staff.

Specsavers Navan is a state-of-the-art optical facility with four optical testing rooms. Each room is equipped with top-of-the-range Nidek testing equipment and most recently, the store has invested in a state-of-the-art Essilor lab lens edger. For greater comfort, the store has also doubled the size of its dispensing area which means shorter waiting times and less delays for patients.

Hearing health

In addition to being experts in eye health, Specsavers Navan also has an on-site hearing centre which is dedicated to giving the highest standard of care to each customer and tests are conducted in a soundproof booth to ensure the most accurate results when testing.

Training

The team at Specsavers Navan are always striving to bring an even better level of service to customers in Meath and engage in continuous education and training programmes to ensure that they are fully updated with advancements in medicine and technological changes in the field of eye and ear health.

Community and corporate responsibility

Specsavers Navan supports a variety of local causes, charities and community activities. For the sixth consecutive year, it is sponsoring the upcoming Boyne Valley Pink Ribbon Walk, which raises valuable funds for Action Breast Cancer. It is also a proud sponsor of local GAA clubs such as Mattock Rangers and Seneschalstown and local soccer team Navan Town. Specsavers has also been the proud sponsor of the Meath Style Awards for the past three years linking up glasses and fashion.
