Committed to cycling
Specsavers Mullingar, along with Specsavers stores nationwide committed to cycling the circumference of Ireland (5,600kms) on Saturday 7th June, with Specsavers Mullingar raising over €1,600 for Specsavers’ chosen charity of the year. The store’s bike was kindly donated by local bike shop; ‘Outdoor Escape’ on the day.
There was a fantastic effort made by the entire Specsavers Mullingar team, who actually exceeded in cycling the target of 120km on the day.
Last year 2,894 children from Co. Westmeath attended Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, meaning there were on average 8 admittances each day from the county.
