In a recent online customer feedback message, staff from Specsavers Navan were praised for their excellent and friendly service.

Highly commended

‘It's not often I choose to email a company to commend them on the level of customer care, however considering my recent experience at your store in Navan, I feel it's warranted.

'Having damaged my spectacles last weekend (I'd lost the case and sat on them!), I brought them to your Navan branch and enquired if it was possible to have them mended. As I had originally purchased the glasses from Specsavers, the store assistant informed me that they would take a look and try their best.

No charge

'When I returned the following Monday, not only had the glasses been completely fixed, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover there was no charge!

'Feeling rather chuffed, I began explaining the story of how my glasses came to be broken in the first place. Upon hearing my story, this new assistant then provided me with a new case free of charge.

Returning in the future

'So well done Specsavers. I was having a rubbish day but things are starting to look a bit better (if you'll excuse the pun!).

'I would like to thank all the staff in the store for their assistance, from the specialist who repaired the glasses to the girls that served me. For the record, I will definitely be returning to yourselves for my future eye care needs.'
