Specsavers Cork City Centre is inviting parents and kids to come along and join in with some family fun as Specsavers celebrate the Easter mid-term break with an event on Saturday 19 April 2014. Mid-terms can be exhausting for parents as they try to keep the kids entertained so why not allow staff at Specsavers Cork City Centre to take the sting out of the holidays as they host a family fun event in store.
Kicking off at 9am, the upcoming fun day will see the store full of theatre and balloons. Face painters will be on-hand to colourfully decorate your little one’s faces to ensure they enjoy the Easter holidays. Competitions will also be taking place right throughout the day with lots of great prizes up for grabs for anyone who comes along and joins in on the fun.
Kids and teens
Specsavers Cork City Centre has a great range of frames available for kids and teens heading back to school after Easter. Specsavers SuperTough lenses are ideal for withstanding the everyday rough and tumble the school playground with lenses guaranteed not to break. All children’s glasses at Specsavers are SuperTough as they are fitted with Trivex lenses as standard, the same special material used in the canopies of fighter jets and combat helicopters.
HSE optical voucher
Parents can also feel safe in the knowledge that SuperTough lenses come as standard in glasses for under-16s. At Specsavers, all glasses in the kids’ €55 range are free with an under-12s’ HSE optical voucher. Specsavers offers new SuperTough single vision lenses free in their children’s glasses as standard. Familiar brands in this price ranges include Hello Kitty, Garfield, Mr Men, Shrek and Action Man, as well as Specsavers’ own teen range.
Claire Morrin, Store Director at Specsavers Cork City Centre, says “We are delighted to be hosting a family fun day event in-store this Saturday and look forward to welcoming our customers’ families in store. We are hoping to keep the kids happy this Easter and hope that they can enjoy the fun activities we have scheduled throughout the day.”
