Specsavers Dundalk is delighted to announce that it will be exhibiting at the upcoming Dementia Elevator Roadshow, which is taking place on Tuesday 27 September from 11am – 2pm in The Marshes Shopping Centre, Dundalk.
Eye and Ear Health
The local community is encouraged to come along to learn more about dementia and find out about local resources and initiatives to support people with dementia and their carers. The expert and knowledgeable staff from Specsavers will also be on hand to give attendees advice on ear and eye health and information on the PRSI treatment benefit scheme. Ophthalmic Director Kathleen Campbell said, ‘As we age, our senses become less acute and usually hearing and vision are the most affected. At Specsavers Dundalk, we pride ourselves on being experts in eye and ear health and always encourage people to get regular tests as part of their overall health routine. Unbeknown to many people, hearing loss can be an early sign of dementia so it is appropriate that we are taking part in the roadshow. I’d encourage anyone with any queries to stop by our stand at Tuesday and meet the team at Specsavers Dundalk.’
