Specsavers' Sligo store is proudly teaming up with the North West Simon Community in an effort to raise much needed funds for this fantastic organisation.
Together with their families and friends, the staff will bake a host of delicious goodies ahead of the event, taking place at the Quayside Shopping Centre store on Easter Saturday, April 19th.
Taking place from 9:30am – 12:30am, this is one event not to be missed, with lots of refreshments and sweet treats to be enjoyed – all in aid of a very worthy cause.
In addition, to their homemade baking efforts, Specsavers staff are set to swap their uniforms for casual, for the day, and make a donation to the Simon Community.
The funds raised by the bake sale will go towards the Simon Community's non-profit work to combat homelessness in the North West region.
Speaking about the upcoming fund raising activity, Specsavers store director Lyneve Wood stated, 'The fundraising for the North West Simon Community is a project that we at Specsavers Sligo are really keen to support. We are humbled to be able to make a contribution toward to this local charity, who carry out fantastic work with those who may be sleeping rough in the area'.
