Specsavers' Wilton team has raised a fantastic €2,250 for the Irish Guide Dogs this year as a result of the extremely hard work of the store staff, all of whom sold greetings cards and eggs in Cork, to raise the much needed funds.
Blind or vision impaired
The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind is Ireland's national charity dedicated to helping persons who are blind or vision impaired and families of children with autism to achieve improved mobility and independence.
Commitments and continued support
Deirdre Moore, drector of Specsavers in Wilton said of the fundraising effort: 'We’re absolutely delighted to be able to donate over €2,000 to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
They’re a fantastic charity and really make a difference in people’s day to day lives. I’d like to thank the team at Specsavers Wilton and all of those who donated, it’s through their commitment and continued support that we are able to raise such brilliant funds.'
