Employers in Ireland are now able to set up and implement an employee eyecare scheme online, within minutes.
Specsavers Corporate Eyecare has continued to develop its eVoucher system since it became available online in July this year. The further options of self-registration and online payments have now been made live. In addition to the already extensive features of the eVoucher system, these further elements aim to make eyecare instantly and easily accessible, from beginning to end of the process.
The self-registration facility allows Irish employers to instantly create an account, then set up and implement their eyecare policy. There is a bulk-upload facility so users can upload entire lists, rather than inputting individual details. With payment also enabled online, it is possible for an HR manager to progress from setting up an eyecare scheme to actually distributing eVouchers, within minutes. The email system enables the electronic distribution of multiple vouchers, making the entire process of eyecare provision instant, efficient, paper-free and easy to manage and share.
Abby Pringle, corporate sales and account adviser at Specsavers Corporate Eyecare in the Republic of Ireland, says: “We aim to make high quality eyecare virtually administration free. Our proposition has always been to offer the best possible level of care for employees, through simple and effective processes that reduce the cost and time involved for employers. We have had very positive feedback to our online vouchers since the system went live earlier this year. These latest enhancements just go to make the process even more efficient.
“We like to provide the benefits of the latest technology but with individual care still very much at the forefront of our endeavours,” continues Abby Pringle. “There will always be a Corporate Account Manager assigned to each client as a single point of personal contact for any queries or issues arising.”
HR managers and safety professionals can now register for an eyecare account, place orders, allocate vouchers to relevant members of staff, review real-time redemption reports and make payments, all online. This is the case for all eyecare vouchers including VDU, driver eyecare and safety eyewear. Employees can even use a smartphone to redeem their voucher at their local Specsavers store.
Paper-based vouchers will still be available and supported for clients not wishing to migrate online.
