The decision to reduce PRSI* hearing benefit means many people will have to pay more for their hearing aids. But at Specsavers, our prices are so low, the majority of customers still qualify for the full amount – up to €500 for each hearing aid.
Our advance range of digital hearing aids is exclusive to Specsavers, and features the latest technology from world leading manufacturers. They offer amazing specification and value. Our advance hearing aid package includes two hearing aids, four years’ worth of batteries and aid enhancements such as directional microphones and auto telephone/telecoil. And for peace of mind, we will also guarantee your hearing aids for four years to include accidental damage.
The range starts from entry level digital aids at €750 to the most sophisticated currently available at €2700. Each level is clearly priced and the price is determined by the type and number of features, not the severity of your hearing loss. Simpler, less highly featured products cost less than those with more features, but all provide good quality digital sound and all come with a full four-year guarantee.

Open Ear Very small discreet instrument with micro-sound-tube and soft plastic ear tip. Ideal for most first-time users of hearing instruments.
Receiver In Canal
Similar to open ear but suitable for a larger range of hearing losses including experienced users.
Not available in the Clearsound range.
Behind The Ear
Larger instrument for greater hearing losses and those with dexterity difficulties.
There is no extra charge for different fitting styles, your hearing aid audiologist will be pleased to advise you as not all
instrument styles are suitable for all hearing losses.

Extras
Directional Microphones - included Amplifies sound from in front and reduces sounds from behind.
Telecoil - included Provides special listening programme for telephones and for situations where "T" symbol is shown without hearing all other sounds.
Automatic Telephone - included Hearing instrument automatically switches to its special telephone setting when the telephone is moved close to the ear.
Remote Control - €149 Allows control of volume and listening programme from hand-held controller. Not available with products from the Clear Sound range
