Guarantee

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase and we want to make sure you have confidence in it. So, to provide extra peace of mind, we guarantee your new digital hearing aid for 2 years from the date of purchase.

What is covered by the Guarantee?

The Guarantee applies to the original purchase of a digital hearing aid from Specsavers Hearing Centres in the Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Isle of Man. It covers the product for 2 years from the date of purchase against any defects in fitting, material and manufacture. Should any such defects arise, we will, as we reasonably determine, adjust, repair or replace the hearing aid free of charge to the original owner.

What is not covered by the Guarantee?

The Guarantee applies to the original purchase and owner and is not transferable. The Guarantee will not cover:

• Defects arising from wilful or accidental damage (including through repairs, attempted repairs or alterations made by anyone other than Specsavers Hearing Centre), neglect, misuse, accidental damage or failure to follow the instructions provided with the hearing aid.
• Loss of the hearing aid.
• The replacement of batteries.
• A claim made without the completed guarantee card or other proof that the product was purchased from a Specsavers Hearing Centre.

Making a claim

If your hearing aid develops a problem (other than through one of the excluded causes listed above), please return it to any Specsavers Hearing Centre, together with this completed guarantee card, or other proof that the hearing aid was purchased from a Specsavers Hearing Centre. If a hearing aid is returned to a Specsavers Hearing Centre and there is found to be no defect or the problem is not caused by a defect in fitting, materials or manufacture, we may charge you for analysing the product and/or correcting the problem. In such a situation, we will advise you of the cost of such repair work in advance of the repairs being carried out.

This Specsavers Hearing Centre guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your legal rights.
