Written answer: Why did I have to wait so long for contact lenses
I’m very short sighted and I went to have a new pair of contact lenses prescribed. When the optician fitted them in, the fitting was perfect but the prescription was completely wrong. I could hardly see. I was so disappointed as I had to wait 10 days for them. The manufacturer did follow the optician’s notes. I then had another hour to have another prescription made up. It never happened to me before. Could you please advise if this can happen and why, especially with all modern equipment nowadays?

Written answer: Swollen upper eyelid for over a month
I have had a sore and swollen upper eye lid for over a month. The doctor gave me antibiotic drops which seemed to aggravate rather than cure. Can I go to a Specsavers optician and get a diagnosis and some treatment advice. Although he doctor has not diagnosed it I think it must be blepharitis.
